It has been five yearssince the start of institute, and what an eventful of the institute have been comprehensively forgotten with the result obtained. Kanpur institute of technology has become widely recognized as the best private engineering college in the kanpur region. When we started the institute, it was with a purpose of providing quality education to student in the kanpur area. Especially those who could not enter IIT. At the time , there was only one private engineering college, and noida & Ghaziabad were the recognized regions for pursuing studies through private engineering college. It has now changed. Kanpur is being recognized as an education centre, and the preferred destination for student that kanpur and KIT will become the leaders in UP in providing quality education through the private route.
Our purpose and objective as being founders and management remain the same-to provide the best infrastructure, facilities and faculty to the student of KIT. The bigger purpose behind the above is to instill a sense of confidence in the student that they are quality students capable of competing with the best in the country. This is tested and proved by our batch of engineers who are confidently facing the challenges of the corporate world. It Is m,y firm belief that our student will come across with flying colors in future also.
Being an IITian, it Is a matter of pride that I could contribute to education in my own small way. In this the immense support received from all members of my family must be graciously acknowledged. The idea for the college was theirs. Their understanding and support during the time the project was implemented (especially the time stolen from the children) was invaluable.
At the end, I would like to recognize the effort and dedication of the director and her team of experienced faculty. They are core reason behind the reputation that KIT enjoys. I wish them to continue their commendable effort so that they make KITT a name that all kanpur takes with pride.
