ELECTRICAL-ELECTRONICS-ENGINEERING

Electricity has become an essential requirement in our day-to-day life. The wide application of electrical power beginning with domestic to industry, communication, transportation along with use of electrical power drives in textile, food processing, pharmaceutical, etc makes it extremely popular among all other branches of engineering. The basic knowledge of electronics to an electrical engineer makes him most suited for present industrial requirement as all the controls and remote operations are carried through electronic media, hence this branch of engineering has gained more popularity now a days.

The privatization of electrical power sector such as generation, transmission and distribution has further increased the demand for trained electrical engineers. This department is engaged to produce the competent graduate engineers through quality education, training industrial visits.

The department has highly experienced faculties from industrial background with specialization in the area of Power System, Electrical Drives, Power Electronics, Control System & instrumentation.

The Department is headed by Mr. Abhishek Vishnoi with 17 years industrial and 10 years teaching experience along with the team of similarly experienced and dynamic faculty members.

Electrical & Electronics Engineering Department has also been accredited for its quality education & follows the course pattern of AKTU, Lucknow
